A common misconception about weight loss is “eat less, lose faster”. This belief might lead you to make drastic (and potentially dangerous) changes in your diet…changes that can actually backfire and sabotage your weight loss efforts.

The article also includes a link to this excellent protein calculator that allows you to calculate your individual protein needs. You will almost certainly learn (as I did) that you are not getting enough daily protein. Not only does eating more protein curb your appetite, it also helps you build muscle faster (and having more muscle helps you lose fat easier).
