As I’m walking on my treadmill while working to the sounds of life passing by my open window, I hear the distant cry in frustration of a neighbor’s daughter (as all parents learn to differentiate causation). I then see the calm, almost 2-year old walk by, swerving from side to side as the baby stroller impedes her view and direction, successfully pushing the stroller like a big girl who wants control of her choices and direction.
Even had you seen my huge grin, you wouldn’t have had any idea how warm I felt inside
