The images are pretty hard to read, but it looks like the state is getting over $5,000,000 annually from the feds for collecting child support. This is my not surprised look: >.>
However, this is surprising and incredibly, incredibly sad:
After losing custody of his children and made destitute by a capricious judge and corrupt Family Court system, an honorably discharged member of our armed forces, having served multiple tours of combat duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, took his own life after saying 'goodbye' to his children over the phone.
A returning POW held prisoner by the army of former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, on arriving home was arrested and handcuffed at the airport by sheriff's deputies for being behind on child support payments; payments he was unable to make because of his capture by the enemy and his being held as a POW.

Wait. The news on the radiation leak that is being disseminated (or should I say decimated) is not correct by a long-shot? Imagine that. It appears Japan has reviewed Chernobyl's playbook and is following it, lie by lie.

Just one more example of a world fearful of its own shadow. I shake my head when I see how up-in-arms people get about some guy's stupid (yet unharmful) action; yet, they completely ignore out-of-control, harmful government actions.

Yeah, right. Pull this leg and it plays Jingle Bells. I stopped trusting NPR (who, BTW, is government-funded) as a reliable news source ages ago. They're just a propaganda arm of the US government.

You see? This is what happens when you make someone a .css moderator who lacks experience. I am going to modify the css in my article and above. Additionally, I'll add a note to the community summary about what to avoid. Thank you for pointing this out.

There doesn't seem to be any such thing as good government anymore.
Anymore? I think some libertarians (or, more specifically, anarcho-capitalists as coined by Murray Rothbard) have a valid argument when they suggest a coercive monopoly on the use of force is never good. Some of the primary dilemmas become who defines the good and by what standard. What you consider good for you might not be good for your neighbor. Why should a gun be the deciding factor?
Bitcoin does have issues. We cannot, nor should we, ignore the deficiencies in the tools we use. But I think we should not discount how important and useful symbols can be. Even though it continues to be essential, our money has been corrupted in so many ways. Not everyone is willing to march in protest or write letters to officials (ignoring for a moment the limited effectiveness). Bitcoins can be used by quiet dissenters on a much larger scale and for a much longer timeframe. They can be used in private, without fear of government reprimand (whereas actions like Occupy Wall Street have provided a vast list of names to the government and more than a few prison stays to protestors). Think of it similar to people who won't buy products from a certain company because they are against some policy. "Honey, I'm not buying X anymore from Y because they have terrible working conditions for their employees in Z country!" It's their own quiet dissent. They feel empowered. They take pride in their protest. Of course, not everyone does it. Maybe if more did, it would make a difference. I'm not willing to give-up.
Now, you wouldn't happen to have Justin's or Katy's phone numbers handy, would you?

An excellent idea. Need I say it? Of course not - I just upvote it.

(smirk) Making a novice .css expert a moderator of a .css community is never a good idea. Consider yourself warned, but I shall attempt to live up to your expecations.

Snaps!
We searched long and hard (alright, we really just did a plain ol' SQL query on the database) but didn't find anything to put on this page. So please just go click somewhere else.
