tanned skin wrinkled
by white teeth and wide eyes
grasping memories by the handful
for pockets bulging
heart flutters
she approaches with care
fingers dance
trails walked once again
crisp cut of fall
time can't be kept at bay
subtle breeze stirs
we're swept away
